Tru Women’s Gym Remodel and Rebrand

Tru Gym, a women's-only gym in Frankton, won my half-day commercial package at the Bayleys Frankton charity golf auction. Owner Carla wanted the finished remodel documented — architectural frames, individual workouts and group scenes across up to 50 images, some destined for Queenstown bus advertising.

AgCon Stump Grinding Photo and Video
I spent a half day filming and photographing AgCon, an owner-operated stump grinding and mulching business working across Southland and Otago. Owner Brent Burgess wanted his marketing to sell the service he provides and the what the finished job can look like. We delivered a 45-second service overview promo, 2 social media cutdowns (15 and 30 seconds), as well as 50 edited images.

Snow League New Zealand Through My Lens: How to Photograph Halfpipe and Freeride at Cardrona
The Snow League World Challenge brought Shaun White's halfpipe league to Cardrona, New Zealand, in September 2026. I photographed it independently on a media pass. To shoot halfpipe, I think you need to get low so riders sit against the sky, use 1/1000 or faster with continuous autofocus, add exposure compensation for the snow, and learn each rider's style and trick set before they drop in.

Smartphone Content Training for Queenstown Businesses, with the Queenstown Business Chamber
In August 2026 I ran The Content Engine, a two-session smartphone content workshop series, in partnership with the Queenstown Business Chamber and Noel Leeming. Local business owners and their teams learned to shoot, edit and plan their own content on the phones they already own, and left with the confidence to do it all themselves.

Showbiz Queenstown 9 to 5 Performance Marketing Material
One four-hour dress rehearsal and one chance to get it right: the full promotional and performance image suite for Showbiz Queenstown's production of 9 to 5. Delivered overnight for printing the following morning, then used across posters, social media and marketing around Queenstown.

DuraPlan Skyline Queenstown Bathrooms Installation, 2026
DuraPlan's bathroom fit-out in the new Skyline building in Queenstown, photographed in about two hours. Composite images built by exposure stacking to hold both the fittings and the light in the room, delivered for the company's project portfolio.

Highlands Motorsport Media Maverick Competition Winner, 2025
I won Highlands Motorsport Park's nationwide search for its next Motorsports Media Maverick, sponsored by Trade Me and run by SpecialPR. The prize was a two-day shoot at the park, photographing and filming models and families on the go-kart tracks for the venue's own marketing.

The Gut Clinic Queenstown Brand Refresh Photo and Video
I filmed and photographed The Gut Clinic Queenstown for a brand refresh. The short welcome video became the clinic's main paid social ad and ran for months. It drove new bookings for the next six months. Here's how we made a private, personal treatment feel calm and approachable on camera.
