I was approached by the NZ Open team to work on their media team for the course of the event.
Part of my assignment was to capture photos of the Pro-Am Tournament, and photograph the pros and amateurs at the first tee, meeting for the first time.
I photographed the group shots, then individual shots of all the players each day, and the photos were printed and given as gifts to the amateurs as part of their welcome pack.
The rest of the tournament, I was given free roam to capture material.
It was an exciting experience and felt like quite a high stakes environment to be working in, but I felt right at home working within the adrenaline that comes with capturing action sports!
