I spent a half day filming and photographing AgCon, an owner-operated stump grinding and mulching business working across Southland and Otago. Owner Brent Burgess wanted his marketing to sell the service he provides and the what the finished job can look like. We delivered a 45-second service overview promo, 2 social media cutdowns (15 and 30 seconds), as well as 50 edited images.
The Snow League World Challenge brought Shaun White’s halfpipe league to Cardrona, New Zealand, in September 2026. I photographed it independently on a media pass. To shoot halfpipe, I think you need to get low so riders sit against the sky, use 1/1000 or faster with continuous autofocus, add exposure compensation for the snow, and learn each rider’s style and trick set before they drop in.
In August 2026 I ran The Content Engine, a two-session smartphone content workshop series, in partnership with the Queenstown Business Chamber and Noel Leeming. Local business owners and their teams learned to shoot, edit and plan their own content on the phones they already own, and left with the confidence to do it all themselves.
