Refreshing Pinewood Lodge’s Visual Story

Pinewood Lodge has long been part of the Queenstown accommodation landscape, offering a relaxed and accessible base for travellers, families, groups, and adventure seekers. For this latest shoot, the goal was to help refresh their visual asset library with a set of images that better reflected the current feel of the property, its location, and the experience guests can expect when they arrive.

The focus was on creating a versatile collection of content that could be used across their website, booking platforms, social media, and marketing materials. Rather than simply documenting rooms and facilities, the shoot was designed to capture the atmosphere of the lodge.  From the practical details guests look for when booking, to the sense of place that comes from being right here in Queenstown.

With Pinewood Lodge, the aim was to create imagery that felt clean, honest, welcoming, and useful across a wide range of platforms.
I did all of this photography while working beside Storyworks, who was tasked with creating HERO video content for the brand.

This project was a great example of how thoughtful photography can support a broader rebrand, helping a local business present itself clearly and confidently in a competitive tourism market.
