Pouakai Circuit Rebuild

These photos were on my solo trip to Pouakai Circuit in March 2022. When hiking the trail, I noticed a massive rebuild of the trail network happening, and decided to document the ironic human impact of the construction progress in order to achieve the larger goal of trail protection and maintenance. All of that work went in to helping many more people experience the true beauty of this trail, seeing waterfalls and of course, Mt. Taranaki from the Pouakai Tarns.
